NASHVILLE— Filmworkers provided editorial, color grading and other post-production services for American Heart, the new music video from country music superstar Faith Hill. Adam Little edited the video, which includes a dance duet between Hill and 10-year-old sensation T.J. Jones. Working simultaneously with Little, colorist Jimmy Cadenas performed color grading, applying the final polish to the video’s rich, playful, All-American look.

Robert Zimmerman Joins Filmworkers Nashville as Executive Producer

Kenny Barrickman returns as producer; facility launches new growth effort that includes the addition of a “virtual” editing room.

NASHVILLE—Filmworkers, a leading independent provider of post-production services for advertising, film, television and music videos, has appointed Robert Zimmerman as executive producer of its facility in Nashville. Zimmerman has more than 20 years of experience as a producer of commercials, music videos and corporate media. He will oversee all aspects of Filmworkers operations in Nashville and will initially focus on expanding the facility and growing is customer base.

Filmworkers and Creative Partners Extend Reach in Feature Films

Post house teams with design studio Vitamin and editorial company Treehouse for the comedy feature “Johnson”

CHICAGO—Over the past few years, Filmworkers has been building a network of creative services companies as a way of better serving its advertising clients. Now, the fruits of those efforts are beginning to show up at the local multiplex.

Filmworkers is slated to provide visual effects, color grading and other post production services for Johnson, an independent comedy shooting in Chicago this month.  Its affiliate, the design and production studio Vitamin will create the film’s titles. Johnson will be edited by Peter Tarter, whose newly-launched editorial studio Treehouse is adjacent to Filmworkers’ facility in Dallas.

Matt Egan of Filmworkers Gives Spy Novel the Star Treatment

Filmworkers director Matt Egan creates a trailer worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster for Derek Haas’ new novel “The Right Hand”

CHICAGO—September 10, 2012— Derek Haas has seen a lot of slickly-produced trailers full of pyrotechnics, special effects, and sexy women. They are often part of the marketing campaigns for the films whose screenplays he’s written, films that include 3:10 to Yuma and Wanted. But it’s unusual for one of his spy novels to get the Hollywood treatment.

Yet, a trailer for The Right Hand, Haas’ new book due out in November, looks very much like a preview for a summer blockbuster. A silhouetted figure in a perfectly tailored suit appears in an ominous, nighttime setting. There are guns, bomb blasts, roaring motorcycles and a naked woman with a Medusa’s crown of snakes. Dynamic images flood the screen at heart-pounding speed. A sonorous voice-over refers to “covert operations outside the boundaries of reality.”

NASHVILLE— From B.B. King and Bruce Springsteen to Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, many of the biggest names in pop, rock and country have passed through Adam Little’s editing room at Filmworkers, Nashville.  He is the “go-to” music video editor for many of the country’s top directors, and has been editing music videos, as well as commercials, television specials, and other types of projects, for more than sixteen years.

A native of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Little has worked with a host of high profile country music stars.  Seven of his videos has been named Video of the Year at the Country Music Awards.  His credits also include a wide range of mainstream pop acts, rock bands and blues performers such as Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow, KISS, Five for Fighting, Garth Brooks, and Brian McKnight to name a few. One of his biggest hits was the video for the Kid Rock anthem, All Summer Long.
